Working on something for down the road, and was reading Fantagraphic's excellent collection of John Severin (and Will Elder) work BOMB RUN last night for a little inspiration. Instead, it utterly flattened me. The art, combined with Harvey Kurtzman's unparalleled storytelling, inspired and dejected me at the same time.
